Golf Gti - Deluxe Exterior Detail

A fresh early morning start got us going on this Black Beauty.
I tackled the rims and calipers 1st before giving the rest of the car a good clean
Then we Clayed the car top to bottom. There was quite a few spots of tough tree sap that the clay bar did well to get off the paintwork.

next we got going on the engine bay and gave that a really good deep clean. Dressed with AutoGlyms Engine dressing to give it a nice clean look.

Took a few snaps of the paint condition before pulling her into the unit for Polishing

Here is a Before and After pic done on the Bonnet

Here is a pic of one door polished and one not under the Halogens inside the Unit

So after a number of hours hidden inside the unit Polishing away she was eventually ready to come out and pose for a few after pics.
Polish of Choice for this was 1st Stage - Menzerna SIP then 2nd Stage - Menzerna Final Finish - 3rd Stage - Chemical Guys Black Light Hybrid Finish - LSP - Menzerna PowerLock Polymer Sealant.

Honda Type R - Deluxe Exterior Detail

A beautiful day greeted us on Sat morning after quite a bit of rain the last week. Our customer arrived bright and early and we got cracking on a cracking car. You wont see too many of these on our Roads.

Steve and I got down to washing and claying the car outside in the morning sun.

At one stage while cleaning the engine I caught sight of the swirls on the Bonnet while it was propped up. So took the chance to take some before snaps

Wheels all nice and clean thanks to the ever popular Daytona Speed Wheel Brush and All Purpose Cleaner from Meguiars.

We realised the Bonnet had a distinct half that was a different sort of white to the rest of the bonnet. We 1st thought it was a Blend respray then thought it was a sticker that may have caused the mark. But we none the less took the car in and gave the Bonnet a Polish to see if we could sort it out. afterwards we rolled her back out and popped the bonnet to take a look. These pics show the before and after on the bonnet.

The mark that was there was gone and the bonnet looking good again. we tackled the rest of the car in the same manner we did the Bonnet. Menzerna SIP and Meguiars M205 Final Finish were the order of the day. I then added the Werkstat Acrylic Prep Sealant which works amazingly on white cars. Then we added the AutoGlym Gloss protection for the LSP (last stage product). All in all the car came out really nicely and the customer was well pleased with the end result.
here are some more pics to tell the rest of the story.

This car produces such a lovely deep exhaust note. And a realy nice tailpipe to go with it.

Some Interior shots from inside the Unit

Then we took her out into the sunshine and took a few more pics

Audi TT - Maintenance Detail

Silver Cars are always a lovely challenge when it comes to Detailing. Getting the curves to really show depth is always super satisfying.
The car came to us as it has been sold, so we were asked to give it a nice cleanup and get her looking her best.

We gave the car a really good deep clean using various brushes too get into every little nook and cranny. The wheels were really a key part to get super clean to really round off the look.

Next we tackled the engine bay and got as deep into the bay as possible to clean as much as possible. We dressed the engine using AutoGlyms Engine dressing to finish off.

We then clayed the car from top to bottom to remove all bonded contaminants. Silver and White cars benefit the most from claying as one can clearly see the little specs that bond to the car and are impossible to remove without the Clay Bar.

We then pulled the car into the unit and gave the Interior a good clean using the AutoGlyms High Foam interior cleaner. We cleaned the seats with AutoGlyms Leather Cleaner. Then we applied Leather Balm to the seats and allowed it to absorb before buffing off the remaining residue to leave an OEM Finish.

We gave the car a Single Stage Polish with Meguiars M205 Ultra Finishing Polish. This step brings out the shine and gloss and adds depth to the colour.

We then Waxed the car using AutoGlyms High Definition Wax. Buffed off 60 mins later and then topped off with Chemical Guys V7 Optical Spray Sealant.
Rims were waxed with Meguiars High Tech Wax and the Tyres dressed with AutoGlyms Tyre Shine.
Here we have the final pics
