Audi RS5 - Protection Detail

Sat was a tricky day to be Detailing in Cape Town. The Weather certainly had us guessing all the time.
Besides the rain threatening all day our Polishes that we use are also sometimes temperature sensitive.
In the end we managed and I believe we got the best out of the paint on this Beauty.

1st up some pics of before we got started. Def a Deep clean was needed

Next up was the Wash. We gave the Car a thorough deep clean using our tried and trusted mix of Mega Wash and APC to strip off any old Wax. Various Brushes were used to get into the engine and clean out all the dust and dirt. The Wheels were 1st washed down with Regular Wash mixture.

Once we dried the wheel it was noticable that we were going to need the well known Sonax Extreme Wheel Cleaner - Full effect to get stuck into the embedded brake dust. some before pics then during pics of how the sonax works.

Our preferred combo on the day was 1st Menzerna Intensive polish for the swirls then Menzerna Final Finish for the Gloss and Deep Black reflections in the Finish.
Topped off with AutoGlyms Paint Protect Sealant.

Harley Davidson V-Rod

We got this Very cool Custom Harley V-Rod in for some polishing work. Bikes seem to be an easy task but when one gets down to polishing every little bit of the Chrome Work time is quickly eaten up.

The end result on this Bad Boy speaks for itself.

BMW 1 Series - New Car Detail

The owner of this very wicked Colour BMW took delivery approx 2 weeks prior to us getting the car. It was amazing to see just how many swirls and scratches were on such a new car.

We decided on a 2 stage Polish using the Menzerna Final Finish polish and Auto Glym Polishing Pad.
We then Applied the Menzerna Powerlock Sealant as LSP.
Mother Nature had the Final say on our day as rain came down in the afternoon.
So I offered to the owner to bring his car back when the weather improves to reapply the Sealant.
Sealant needs 24 hours of Curing time.

The owner brought the car back a week later and we reapplied the Sealant to the car after a quick 1 stage light Polish to remove the old sealant.
